Anchorage Community Breakfast
To prepare and serve a cold breakfast to those in need one day per week at First UMC in Lancaster City from 8:00 a.m. to 10:15 a.m.


Christmas Eve Food Drive
To restock local food pantries by collecting food during Christmas Eve worship.


Christmas Giving Tree
To provide gifts to those in our community, both children and adults, that may not otherwise have a gift under their tree.


Community Meal
To provide, prepare, and serve dinner for more than 100 people at St John Lutheran Church on 223 West Orange Street in Lancaster on the first Thursdays of even months.


GAiN Logistics Center
To gather, pack, and send food, clothes, medical equipment, and other supplies all around the world.


GAiN Luo Pads
To make reusable feminine pads for GAiN to send to women in need all around the world, allowing them to live their lives all month long.


Garden Harvest
To grow or purchase fresh produce to distribute to hungry people in our community.

Good News Club (GNC)
To host an after school Bible club at Centerville Elementary School through Child Evangelism Fellowship.


Hempfield Academy
Located in Wachara, Kenya, the school provides education and meals for children in Life For Children’s program.


Hempfield Area Food Pantry
To send volunteers to Hempfield’s food panty.


Homeless Rent Subsidy
To subsidize and sponsor a rental unit offered to provide permanent housing for a family to move out of a homeless shelter.


Hope Church
To support Hope Church in Wachara, Kenya that HUMC helped to build in 2010.


Impact
To build relationships with those in the adult industry through love, support, and encouragement.


Life for Children Ministry
To build a long-term relationship with the people of Wachara, Kenya.


LUMINA
To help low income families in the Lancaster City area by providing classes on nutrition, budgeting, and parenting, children’s programs throughout the year, school uniform clothing bank, teen parent support and much more.

To help provide affordable housing in the local area.


Power Packs Project (PPP)
To coordinate and distribute food and recipes for children at East Petersburg, Farmdale, and Mountville Elementary Schools.


United Methodist Committee on Relief (UMCOR)
To partner with UMCOR in times of disaster.


Volunteers in Mission (VIM)
To provide construction assistance to communities recovering from disaster and in Lancaster as situations arise.


Water Street Meal Serving
To serve the evening meal on the first and third Saturdays of each month.


Winter Shelter
To accommodate the increased demand on homeless shelters from December through March by partnering with the Lancaster County Council of Churches at the YWCA to run Lancaster’s Winter Shelter for one week.


Yard Sale Outreach Tables
To give space to community and global ministries during the church’s yard sale.
