Spring can be a hard season to face for someone who is used to the cold darkness. The promise of something “new” isn’t always the hope we’re looking for. Sometimes, all we want is regrowth from an old branch, and facing something entirely new may be painful. But the life we see in Spring is not always “new,” like we often think. It’s life that’s been beneath the frozen ground all along, we just couldn’t see it. God’s Word does the same in our hearts: seeds of grace that were planted long ago begin to break through as God softens and tends to the frozen soil.
God just continues to shock us with His amazing plans!
