CHRISTMAS EVE FOOD DRIVE

Hempfield UMC hosts an annual food drive on Christmas Eve.  Please bring a bag of non-perishable food to address hunger and food insecurity in Lancaster County. The food will be donated to the Hempfield Food Bank (Landisville), Lancaster County Food Hub, Columbia Food Bank and supplement HUMC’s food pantry.

Christmas Eve Offering

This year, Hempfield UMC will designate a portion of the Christmas Eve offering to Life for Children Ministries in Wachara, Kenya. We would like to send $10,000 for the building of a new classroom for their Primary School. The school has 400 students and continues to grow. They expect 100 new students next year, which will require more classrooms. Your offering on Christmas Eve will provide a safe place for the children of Wachara to gain an education, one that they might not otherwise have. Your prayers and financial generosity for the children and teaching staff of Life for Children Ministries are greatly appreciated.
