Contemplative Community Life
We meet as a contemplative community to establish and share our spiritual practices so that we may encourage one another in allowing God’s spirit to form and transform us.
Sunday, March 3 & 31, 9 a.m.
Exploring Transformation through Inspired Literature
As we connect with and see ourselves in the story of STONE SOUP, a fable that has been handed down for generations with many versions, we will explore and reference bible events such as the feeding of the 5000 and the Last Super and compare how lives were changed and community was formed. We will see how out of STONE SOUP we become LIVING STONES. Using the Holy Bible and spiritual practices such the Prayer of Imagination, we will explore our own humanity both light and shadow sides through the eyes of those in these inspired writings.
