How are decisions being made regarding Covid-19?
The Church Council has been meeting online to discuss every aspect of our church life. Their decisions will guide our present ministry and help facilitate our return. Our pastors are working together to oversee the general ministry of the church and make recommendations as needed. Our staff is faithfully overseeing the ministries under their care. Many of our ministry leaders continue to serve through online ministries.
What is the church’s current financial condition?
We are very grateful for the faithful giving of all our members and friends. Your continued faithful and generous giving has kept our church strong and able to serve the members of our church and community. Our Finance Team is working hard to ensure wise and conservative stewardship of all of the church’s tithes and offerings. In the process, we have deferred expenditures on all non-essential property and ministry projects.
Secure online giving is available at hempfieldumc.org/give

Are our pastors, staff, and visiting members able to make hospital visits?

What if I, or someone I know, has a need?
Please contact the church the same way you did before. You may call the church directly at 717-285-5156. You may also email any of our staff at any time. Staff contact forms are available on the church website.
