It may be hard to feel optimistic about the future after you’ve lost a spouse, child, family member, or friend, and you’ve probably found there are not many people who understand the deep hurt you feel. This can be a confusing time when you feel isolated and have many questions about things you’ve never faced before.
GriefShare groups meet weekly to help those who are grieving face these challenges and move toward rebuilding their lives. Each GriefShare session has three distinct elements: a video, discussion, and personal study and reflection.
Hempfield’s next GriefShare session begins on Wednesday, Aug. 26 from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. in room 124 at Hempfield Church, 3050 Marietta Ave., Lancaster. The cost of GriefShare is $20 payable by check or cash at the first meeting. Checks should be made payable to HUMC with “GriefShare” written in the memo line.
Facilitators for the group will be Robin Murray and Ashley Elliot.
