CONFIRMATION class

Open to: 7th-12th Grade
Session #5: February 9, 2020 – Trip #5: February 23, 2020
Session #6: March 8, 2020 – Trip #6: March 21, 2020
CoNFIRMATION SERVICE: March 22, 2020 at 10am.

Confirmation is an opportunity for students to discover what they believe and why they believe it. Join us in this wonderful opportunity that starts with some basic topics and ends with baptism!

Famine 2020

january 31-February 1, 2020
Open to: 7th-12th grade
cost: $30

Famine is our annual event that brings awareness of major justice issues to students. This event consists of breakout sessions, worship, service projects, and fun activities. The event will conclude with a worship service open to all families or members of the church that wish to attend!

NOTE: While students are encouraged to fast from food during this event, it is NOT a requirement for participation.

Pursue Christian Teen Conference

February 14-16, 2020
Open to: 7th-12th grade
cost: $150

Pursue Christian Teen Conference is an annual event held in Harrisburg, drawing Christian churches from neighboring states for a weekend of top-notch teaching and worship, challenging workshops, and fun.  

We’ll stay at either the Harrisburg Hilton or the Crowne Plaza Hotel and enjoy this awesome weekend away together!

Puerto rico Mission Trip

June 13-19, 2020
Open to: Students entering 11th grade or higher in 2020-21 school term
cost: $1300

High School SHOUT will travel to Puerto Rico to continue Hurricane Maria recovery. Although Puerto Rico is a U.S. territory, this trip will feel international. This trip is reserved for upperclassmen, but underclassmen can apply to go if there are any open spots.

Philadelphia Mission Trip

June 21-27, 2020
Open to: Students entering 7th-9th grade in 2020-21 school term
cost: $425

Middle School SHOUT will be partnering with The Philadelphia Project to “serve whole-heartedly in our community and to think critically about how God’s Word speaks to social and spiritual issues.” The Philadelphia Project’s prayer is “that God uses this extended experience of service, worship, and fellowship to make an eternal impact on youth and those they serve as well as a visible impact offering hope and restoration to our community.”

Momentum 2020: Mission Trip and Youth Conference (Springfield, Illinois)

July 14-19, 2020
Open to: Students entering 9th-12th grade in 2020-21 school term
cost: $560

Momentum is a unique experience that combines the aspects of youth conferences, summer camps, and mission trips. This opportunity will help students develop and deepen their passion and faith in God while teaching and equipping them to be bold and intentional in all their actions. Momentum’s goal is to connect youth to God, to help them understand where they belong in the Kingdom of God, and to show them how they can know God’s unique purpose for their lives. This conference seeks to create an atmosphere conducive to learning, listening, serving, and following Jesus.
